About the Journal
Closed Access
The Journal of Nutrition and Dietetics (JND) follows a closed access model, meaning full-text articles are available only to subscribers or through individual purchases. However, authors may share abstracts and preprints based on journal policies.
Data Availability Policy
Authors must provide a Data Availability Statement indicating whether their research data is:
- Publicly available in a recognized repository (e.g., Dryad, Figshare).
- Available upon request.
- Restricted due to privacy or ethical concerns.

- Crossref (DOI Registration)
Peer Review Policy
JND follows a double-anonymized peer review process, where both reviewers and authors remain anonymous.
- Editorial Screening (2–4 Weeks): Plagiarism and formatting checks.
- Peer Review (4 Weeks): Two to three expert reviewers evaluate submissions.
- Final Review & Approval (4 Weeks): The Editorial Board and Editor-in-Chief finalize acceptance.
Total Peer Review Process: 12 Weeks (3 Months).
Editorial Policy
- Authorship Transparency: Only significant contributors are listed.
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure: Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose potential biases.
- Ethical Compliance: Research involving human or animal subjects must have ethical approvals.
- Plagiarism Prevention: All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.
- Retractions & Corrections: Articles may be corrected or retracted if serious issues arise.
