Dr. David Okeyo (MSc., PhD, MSc. PH)
Dr. Okeyo is a distinguished scholar and leader in Public Health Nutrition, Nutrition Policy, and Governance. With over 15 years of experience in research and more than 56 peer-reviewed publications, he has made significant contributions to population-based health interventions, healthy diet advocacy, and nutrition governance.
Criteria for Selection
- Registered & Licensed with KNDI.
- Ph.D. holder with 10+ years of postdoctoral experience.
- Published at least 20 papers in peer-reviewed nutrition & dietetics journals.
- Served as an Editor for at least two years in a peer-reviewed journal.
- Reviewer experience in an international peer-reviewed journal for at least five years.

Roles, Responsibilities, and Obligations
- Manages the peer-review process and manuscript approvals.
- Final decision-making authority for publication.
- Leads the Editorial Board and Associate Editors.
- Ensures ethical publishing compliance following COPE guidelines.
- Works on journal indexing, visibility, and impact factor growth.
